Tepebaşı Clinic Continues Free Dental Services for Children, Offering Screenings and Treatments

The Tepebaşı Municipality in Eskişehir proudly continues its commitment to child and public health through its Children's Oral and Dental Health Polyclinic, a shining example of social democratic municipalism since its inauguration on January 4, 2013. This facility offers a comprehensive suite of services completely free of charge, including dental screenings, treatments, fillings, extractions, fluoride applications, emergency interventions, and referrals for advanced care. Crucially, the clinic also focuses on educating children about oral hygiene from an early age, fostering a proactive approach to health.

Spearheaded by Tepebaşı Mayor Dt. Ahmet Ataç, himself a dentist, the clinic's philosophy centers on preventive care. Operating under the Ferdi Zeyrek Living Center, it provides children not just with treatment but also with a supportive environment that includes reception services, psychological support, and educational programs. Between January 2013 and March 31, 2026, the clinic has conducted 81,448 screenings and provided treatment to 39,177 children. Additionally, 3,974 children received psychological support, and 25,556 benefited from educational sessions.
