TezJet Airline's License Revoked After Inspections

The Kyrgyz Civil Aviation Agency has revoked the license of the airline TezJet following an inspection that revealed serious violations of aviation laws. These breaches directly compromised flight safety, prompting the agency's decisive action. The agency stated that it prioritizes passenger safety above all else and will take strict measures against any operator endangering it, regardless of the airline's name or history.

Following the inspection, serious violations of the Kyrgyz Republic's aviation laws that directly affect flight safety were identified. In this regard, the Civil Aviation State Agency made a decision to revoke the license of Tez Jet airline in the manner prescribed by law.

This action follows an incident on July 7 where a TezJet flight bound for Osh from Bishkek was unable to depart due to a landing gear malfunction. The aircraft was carrying 181 passengers, including 18 children, though no injuries were reported. The agency emphasized that all airlines in Kyrgyzstan will undergo unscheduled inspections to ensure compliance with aviation laws and flight safety requirements.

Passenger safety is the highest priority for the Civil Aviation State Agency. The strictest measures will be taken against every operator that poses a threat to flight safety, regardless of the airline's name, how many years it has been operating, or its position in the aviation industry.

Officials confirmed that those responsible will be held accountable under Kyrgyz law. The state agency is monitoring the situation closely and will provide further information on the investigation's findings and the measures taken. The agency reiterated its commitment to safety, stating that similar strict measures would be applied to any airline whose operations pose a risk to passengers and crew.
