Thai actress Anyarin Sofea is venturing into the Malaysian music scene, aiming to capture the hearts of local music lovers with her debut single, "Balar-Balar." After years of recognition for her roles in Thai dramas and films, Sofea is taking a bold step to establish a new artistic identity as a singer in Malaysia.

I've been in the entertainment industry in Thailand for a long time and was involved in many dramas and films," she recalled.

I'm not a full singer before, but I had the opportunity to sing theme songs for drama series in Thailand. So when I start singing seriously now, it feels like something new for me to explore.

Sofea mentioned that her interest in singing is relatively recent, though she has performed at mini-concerts during events, which she found enjoyable. She particularly likes performing for audiences. The title "Balar-Balar" for her single was chosen because its sound is similar to the Southern Thai dialect, according to her producer. Sofea expressed excitement for her first single and noted that her Thai fans were surprised by her serious commitment to singing.
