Thanh Hoa Chairman Nguyen Hoai Anh appointed Standing Deputy Minister for Ethnic Minorities Affairs

Nguyen Hoai Anh, formerly the Chairman of the Thanh Hoa Provincial People's Committee, has been appointed as the Standing Deputy Minister of the Committee for Ethnic Minorities Affairs. The Prime Minister issued the decision, which became effective on July 19.

Anh, a member of the 14th Central Party Committee, brings a wealth of experience from his previous roles. He served in various capacities in Binh Thuan province, including positions related to ideology, culture, and party organization. He also held significant leadership positions such as Secretary of Tuy Phong District Party Committee and Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee.

His career progression continued with appointments in Lam Dong province, where he served as Standing Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee. Subsequently, he moved to Thanh Hoa province in September 2025, initially as Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee before being elected Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee. In January 2026, he was elected a member of the 14th Central Party Committee Executive Committee.

The Committee for Ethnic Minorities Affairs now includes Deputy Ministers Nguyen Hoai Anh, Y Vinh Tor, Y Thong, Nong Thi Ha, and Nguyen Hai Trung. The Minister of the Committee is Nguyen Dinh Khang.
