The aristocrat among wines arrives on the stage of Križanke

Ljubljana is set to host the Salon Sauvignon festival, bringing together esteemed winemakers and their finest creations. The event will feature more than fifty vintners from Slovenia, Croatia, Austria, and the Czech Republic, presenting a diverse array of wines.

Attendees can anticipate a selection of Slovenia's top sauvignons, alongside carefully chosen cabernet sauvignons. The festival will also highlight the best additional labels from other grape varieties offered by the participating wineries. Slavko Dobnik, the director of Salon Sauvignon, expressed his enthusiasm for the event.

This prestigious festival is scheduled to take place in the architecturally significant Plečnik's Križanke. The Ljubljana event follows a successful iteration in Ptuj, indicating a growing interest and appreciation for wine culture in the region. The festival aims to be a holistic experience, blending wine tasting with culinary delights and artistic appreciation.
