Tyson Fury, the former two-time world heavyweight champion, declared that "the best is yet to come" as he prepares for a charity boxing match in Pattaya, Thailand. Fury, who turns 38 next month, views this bout against Polish boxer Mariusz Wach as a crucial warm-up for his long-awaited showdown with fellow Briton Anthony Joshua later this year. However, Fury emphasized his focus on the present, stating he felt "rejuvenated" by his time in Thailand since December. He highlighted the beautiful environment and excellent training facilities, contrasting it with his previous experiences in colder climates. "I feel at peace with everything, where before I had a lot of pressure on me," Fury remarked. The fight, scheduled for tomorrow at the Max Muay Thai Stadium, will support a charity for underprivileged children in Pattaya. While not a major broadcast event, it will be recorded for Fury's Netflix series. Fury recently returned from a 16-month retirement with a win over Arslanbek Makhmudov in April.
