The front end, or Media Operations Engine, will continue its function as a high-velocity news organization. It will report events, investigate public issues, analyze developments, and inform citizens through timely and credible journalism. This engine is designed to generate public value through its daily news operations.

Complementing the newsroom is the back end, the Knowledge Operations Engine, also known as the Sundiata Post Intelligence Unit (SPIU). This proprietary knowledge engine will focus on generating original research, developing analytical frameworks, curating datasets, and publishing working papers. Its goal is to transform the journalistic enterprise into a permanent system of knowledge production, preserving institutional memory through globally recognized scholarly repositories.
