Edelle entered the Traitors’ ranks with an unusual disadvantage: she knew she had been recruited, but not who her fellow Traitors were. The episode opened by revealing her appointment as the castle’s fourth Traitor, alongside Carla, Fionula and Páraic K.

Her first decision came immediately. Asked to choose between Emma, Denis and Kayleigh, Edelle selected Emma, saying she knew her least and believed Denis and Kayleigh could help her later in the game. Emma said she was “raging” to become the first player murdered, but accepted the exit warmly: “I don’t know what I could have done differently. But I enjoyed it.”

Pete then came close to the truth without realizing it. After Páraic squeezed Edelle’s arm, Pete joked that it looked “like a meeting of Traitors”. Páraic knew Edelle had been recruited, while Edelle still did not know he was a Traitor. Pete continued watching him at the Round Table and challenged a change in his behavior. Páraic looked directly at him and insisted: “I’m 100% Faithful.”

The day’s musical-chairs-style challenge also exposed a hidden relationship. Denis and Diego prioritized survival over prize money, with Denis declaring: “F*** the money.” They became the last pair standing and won two shields, while the contestants banked only €1,400 of a possible €4,000. Diego compared the victory to “an Olympic medal in Irish dancing”, before the pair revealed that they had been married for 11 years. “He is a way better husband than he is a dancer,” Diego joked. “He’s just the best.”

At the first Round Table, DJ drew suspicion after admitting he had lied about his job. Laura, however, focused on Edelle, setting up a dramatic end to the night.
