Thieves Rob Commercial House in Villa Elisa, Fleeing with High-End Cell Phones

A group of at least three individuals broke into an appliance and electronics store in Villa Elisa early Tuesday morning, making off with at least eight high-value cell phones. Police reported the entire robbery took less than a minute.

The incident occurred at a store located at the intersection of Von Poleski and Américo Pico avenues. The thieves forced entry through one of the access points before fleeing the scene.

According to Police Commissioner Antonio Cristaldo, head of Villa Elisa's 13th Precinct, officers noticed a vehicle parked nearby around 2 a.m. "At one point, a noise was heard, and as the guard personnel went out to verify, two to three subjects were already leaving the place in a black car, the make of which could not be determined due to the quick escape," he stated.

Store employees preliminarily reported that the stolen items included at least eight cell phones, specifically two iPhones and six Xiaomi devices. Initial information suggests the perpetrators fled in the direction of the city of Lambaré. Criminalistics and Central Area Investigation agents were called to the scene to conduct the necessary procedures.
