Third Round of University Admissions Begins in Kyrgyzstan

Kyrgyzstan's higher education institutions have launched the third round of their university admission process for the upcoming academic year. The campaign, managed through the automated information system Abiturient Online, allows prospective students to register their applications until 2 p.m. on July 29.

So far, the admission process has seen significant engagement, with over 61,000 electronic applications submitted across the first two rounds. Of these, 21,600 were for state-funded positions, while 39,500 were for paid tuition programs. Universities have recommended 41,600 applicants for enrollment.

More than 30,000 applicants have confirmed their commitment to study in their chosen fields. This includes 23,700 students opting for paid programs and 6,400 who have secured state grants. The most sought-after fields of study among those who have confirmed their enrollment are education and humanities, followed closely by economics and finance, medicine, information technology, and law.

The overall admission campaign is structured to include five rounds, with a total of approximately 10,000 state-funded places available. This multi-round approach aims to ensure a comprehensive and fair selection process for students seeking higher education in Kyrgyzstan.
