This season sees the protagonist, Jan Paweł, driven by a desire to prove his nobility, setting his sights on an audacious goal: sending a peasant to the moon.

According to Jakub Rużyłło, the creator and screenwriter, Jan Paweł's ambitions will reach cosmic proportions, pushing the boundaries of the show's characteristic absurdity. Rużyłło notes that the third season adopts a darker, more somber tone, reminiscent of the first season, while still exploring the harsh realities of 17th-century Poland.

Director Kordian Kądziela adds that despite returning to the bleak setting of Adamczycha, the narrative will venture into diverse locations, including Warsaw and royal courts. The season aims to paint a broader panorama of the series' world, introducing new events, characters, and plot twists. The story picks up shortly after the Royal Harvest Festival, with Jan Paweł facing a crisis of nobility after a fire destroys crucial documents, threatening his status and that of his family.
