Thirteen hospitalized after two separate traffic accidents in Kyrgyzstan

Thirteen people have been hospitalized after two separate traffic accidents in Kyrgyzstan. The incidents occurred on August 23 in the Boom Gorge and the Naryn region.

In the Boom Gorge, a Mercedes-Benz Sprinter collided with a Hyundai Sonata. Police reported that the Sprinter driver attempted to avoid an oncoming Audi when the crash occurred. Nine individuals from this collision were taken to the Balykchy City Hospital.

Another accident took place on the Sary-Bulak, Kochkor highway in the Naryn region. A Lexus and a truck were involved in a head-on collision. Eyewitnesses told media that the Lexus was traveling from Naryn, while the truck was moving in the opposite direction. The Lexus driver and three passengers were hospitalized, with one sustaining moderate injuries and the others minor ones.

Following the Naryn region accident, the truck's trailer blocked the road, causing a traffic jam that lasted approximately two hours. Other drivers and passengers assisted in moving the trailer to clear the obstruction.
