Thirty Horse Passports Stolen from Truck at Vrasene Market

A peculiar theft occurred at the Vrasene street market, where approximately 30 horse passports were stolen from a parked truck. The incident has left the owner, Dirk De Permentier, distressed over the loss of these important documents.

De Permentier explained that he kept the passports in his laptop bag. He believes the thieves targeted the bag, likely expecting to find a laptop, and were unaware of the actual contents. The passports themselves hold no monetary value for the perpetrators, but their loss poses a significant problem for the owner.

"I always keep them in a laptop bag," De Permentier recounted. "After the registrations, I went back to put my bag in the truck, so they probably thought they had taken a laptop." He emphasized the personal value and necessity of the passports, stating, "The thieves are completely worthless with those horse passports, but for me, they are worth a lot."
