Thompson Shares Rehearsal Footage Ahead of Vukovar Concert

Marko Perković Thompson is in the final stages of preparation for a humanitarian concert in Vukovar, scheduled for August 29. The singer recently gave fans a glimpse of the preparations by posting a video of a rehearsal with his band on social media. The clip, shared on Thompson's Facebook page, features the band performing the song "Bosna" and offers "a small part of the atmosphere from rehearsals as we prepare for the big concert in Vukovar."

The concert carries a significant humanitarian purpose. Proceeds will support the completion of the Salesian Student Dormitory in Zagreb and contribute to the "You Are Vukovar" donation campaign, aimed at building the "12 Croatian Police Officers Stadium." Thompson emphasized the evening's theme of unity, patriotism, and solidarity.

Beyond the Vukovar event, Thompson has announced the commencement of his European tour. Following a successful tour across Croatia, he will take his music abroad, with the first stop being Frankfurt on November 13, 2026, at the Jahrhunderthalle. This announcement follows the release of his album "Hodočasnik" in June 2025, which quickly topped domestic charts.

The Frankfurt concert is anticipated to be a significant event for the large Croatian diaspora in Germany and fans from other European countries. It will offer an opportunity to experience songs from "Hodočasnik" live, alongside his well-known hits that have defined his career. Thompson's team highlighted the concert's role in connecting with the diaspora and celebrating his musical legacy.
