Thousands Flock to Palanga Bridge for Dazzling Air Show at Summer Opening Festival

Palanga's skies came alive with an impressive aerial display on Saturday evening, drawing thousands of spectators to the town's iconic bridge. The air show, a highlight of the summer opening festival, captivated the crowds with daring acrobatic maneuvers. Locals expressed that this year's opening exceeded expectations, with many surprised by the large turnout. Although Friday evening's weather had raised some concerns, Saturday delivered a stunning, sun-drenched sky. The intense sunlight, however, presented a challenge for viewers trying to follow the aircraft's performance. Following the air show, the festival continued with a lineup of musical acts, including Monika Liu and "Free Finga," culminating in a performance by "Beissoul & Einius." The festivities were set to carry on into Sunday with a more relaxed, family-focused program featuring children's concerts, special services demonstrations, a foam show, beach dancing, and moments of tranquility in Birutė Park.
