Three dead in Tay Ninh road accident after motorcycle collides with truck

Authorities in Vietnam's Tay Ninh province have concluded their investigation into a fatal traffic accident that claimed three lives. The initial findings point to alcohol consumption by the motorcyclist as the primary cause of the collision.

The incident occurred early on June 23 in Hau Nghia commune. A motorcycle carrying three young people collided head-on with a truck. The impact was severe, throwing the riders from the motorcycle and resulting in their immediate deaths at the scene. The motorcycle was found mangled and lodged beneath the truck, while the truck sustained front-end damage.

Investigators identified the motorcyclist's impairment and lane deviation as the direct cause of the tragedy. The truck driver, identified as Tran Ngoc Quyet, 35, was on a delivery route at the time of the crash. The three individuals on the motorcycle were identified as L.M.T., 26, N.T.P., 14, and L.T.N., 17. Due to the severity of the crash, authorities could not immediately determine who was operating the motorcycle.

The case remains under further investigation by provincial authorities for legal processing.
