Three killed in Moscow region drone strikes

A drone attack in Russia's Moscow region resulted in three fatalities and three injuries in the Istros Pionersky settlement, according to regional governor Andrey Vorobyov. The incident occurred amidst a recent escalation of Ukrainian drone strikes targeting Russian territory.

Vorobyov reported on Telegram that air defense systems intercepted 81 drones over the Moscow region. In a separate incident, another drone struck the southern Stavropol region, igniting a fire in an industrial zone. Regional governor Vladimir Vladimirov stated that emergency services responded to the blaze, but no casualties were reported in that instance. He urged residents to remain vigilant due to the ongoing drone threat.
