Three rescued from sea currents in Ordu

Three people were rescued from the sea after being caught in strong currents off the coast of Keş Mahallesi in Ordu, Turkey. The individuals, identified as Kamil Ş., Ayhan C., and Zafer Ü., had entered the water to cool off before finding themselves struggling against the powerful currents.

Bystanders on the shore noticed the swimmers in distress and immediately alerted the authorities. Rescue teams, including personnel from the Ordu Metropolitan Municipality Fire Department, were dispatched to the scene. Alongside local citizens, the teams worked quickly to pull the three individuals out of the water, preventing a potential drowning.

Emergency medical services provided initial treatment at the scene. Subsequently, the rescued individuals were transported by ambulance to Ünye State Hospital and Fatsa State Hospital for further care. Hospital officials reported that all three are in good health and recovering.
