Three Telangana men killed in Florida after car hits roadside tree, catches fire

A tragic accident in Florida has claimed the lives of three men from India's Telangana state. Their car veered off the road, struck a tree, and subsequently caught fire near Palm Bay in Brevard County, according to a family member of one of the deceased.

One victim was identified as 26-year-old N Rahul from Nizamabad district. His father, N Haribabu, an assistant sub-inspector of police, stated that Rahul and two other flatmates from Telangana were traveling to their part-time workplace when the crash occurred. Rahul was taken to a hospital but died during treatment, while the other two occupants reportedly died at the scene.

Rahul, who had recently returned to the U.S. after visiting his hometown, was pursuing a PhD at the University of South Florida and held part-time employment. His father recounted a phone call from Rahul on Tuesday, shortly before the accident, mentioning his friends had arrived to pick him up. The Florida Highway Patrol is investigating the incident, which occurred around 9:49 a.m. local time on Interstate 95.

The Telugu Association of North America (TANA) is reportedly coordinating with U.S. authorities to facilitate the repatriation of the bodies. The investigation into the crash and completion of necessary formalities are ongoing.
