Tinubu: APC Members' Support Challenges Me to Serve Nigeria Better

President Bola Tinubu views the strong backing he receives from members of the All Progressives Congress (APC) as a motivation to increase his efforts for Nigeria. Speaking to reporters after participating in the APC Presidential Primaries in Lagos, Tinubu expressed his excitement and stated that the party members' support "challenge me to do more."

The President noted the orderly conduct and enthusiasm shown by party members, highlighting their commitment to democratic values.

Reflecting on the primaries across various states, Tinubu expressed satisfaction with the performance of state governors and the organization of the electoral process, from ward congresses to delegate accreditation. He believes these exercises demonstrate a high level of democracy. The APC, he stressed, remains dedicated to transparent and inclusive democratic practices that empower grassroots members to select their leaders, considering this involvement fundamental to sustainable democratic development.

I am very satisfied that Governors have done well in their various states, from the ward congresses to Local Government congresses to the delegate accreditation, validation, membership registration and the certification of the electoral process. It has been done very well, and with this, you could rate democracy at a high level.
