Top SPM student Ahmad Hasif aims to become an artificial intelligence engineer

Ahmad Hasif Muhaimin, a student from Maahad Tahfiz Negeri Pahang, has achieved outstanding results in the Sijil Pelajaran Malaysia (SPM) examinations, securing 10A+ and 1A. His exceptional performance has garnered attention on social media platforms, surpassing his initial target of 6A or 7A and bringing joy to his parents.

Alhamdulillah I am very grateful to Allah SWT for this success. What excites me is that this result has exceeded my original target of obtaining at least 6A or 7A. At the same time, I have made my mother and father happy.

Hasif, an 18-year-old science stream graduate, attributes his success to a combination of hard work, prayers, and encouragement from his family, teachers, and peers. He emphasizes the effectiveness of classroom learning, where he actively engages with teachers, asking questions whenever he encounters difficulties. This approach, he believes, strengthens memory retention and deepens understanding, especially when complemented by group discussions that foster an interactive and practical learning environment.

Beyond academics, Hasif is also actively involved in extracurricular activities. He participated in various innovation competitions and volunteer programs. Notably, he developed a website to promote handmade batik in the Virtual Innovation, Invention and Ideas Competition 2024, earning a silver award at the international level.

In class, I receive all the knowledge, guidance, and clear and complete explanations from the teacher. I always ask any questions or queries if I don't understand a topic or lesson explained by the teacher.

With a passion for Biology and English, Hasif employs specific study methods, dedicating mornings to new concepts and evenings to reinforcing challenging topics. His ultimate aspiration is to become an artificial intelligence engineer, a goal he is now well-positioned to pursue following his academic triumphs.
