Tottenham earn first point in Mudryk’s debut

Tottenham finally got on the board, but their first point of the season came without a goal. They drew 0-0 with Nottingham Forest in the third round of the English Premier League and moved to 17th place, while Forest rose to 16th with two points.

The match also marked Mykhailo Mudryk’s return to competitive football. The Tottenham loanee came off the bench in the 74th minute for his first appearance since 2024, following a lengthy ban.

Manchester City kept a perfect record with a narrow 1-0 win over newly promoted Coventry City. Erling Haaland scored the only goal in Manchester in the 26th minute, heading in a cross from Antonie Semenyo. Coventry remained without a point at the bottom of the table.

Brighton and Leeds drew 1-1, with Jayden Bogle putting Leeds ahead after 15 minutes before Luka Vuskovic equalized in the 72nd. Crystal Palace came from behind to beat Fulham 3-2 at Craven Cottage, while Brentford and Sunderland shared a 1-1 draw in London. Brentford have five points in fifth place, and Sunderland have four in 11th.
