Tottenham ready to launch Osimhen bid

Premier League club Tottenham Hotspur is reportedly preparing to launch a bid for Galatasaray's star striker, Victor Osimhen. Despite previous unsuccessful attempts by other top European clubs, Spurs are keen to acquire the Nigerian international, viewing him as the key addition to their attacking lineup.

Tottenham has been one of Europe's biggest spenders this summer, investing over £230 million in new talent. While several signings have been made, the club's hierarchy is eager to add more firepower before the transfer window closes. According to reports, Spurs are prepared to offer £65 million for Osimhen.

However, this valuation might be ambitious given Osimhen's current form, his status as Galatasaray's star player, and his contract, which extends until 2029. Galatasaray has reportedly valued the striker at €150 million. Osimhen himself has indicated he would only leave if the club agrees to a transfer.

Osimhen has a prolific scoring record, netting 107 goals in 145 appearances across all competitions over the last four seasons. He has won three league titles in the past four years, including Serie A with Napoli and back-to-back Super Lig titles with Galatasaray. His performance in the Champions League has also been notable, with 16 goals in 27 appearances. Several Premier League clubs, including Arsenal, Manchester United, and Chelsea, have previously shown interest, but no deal has materialized.
