The tourist recounted paying 1,500 lei (approximately $315 USD) for four nights in a room located about a ten-minute walk from the Nibiru amusement park.

The individual explained on TikTok that finding accommodation in Costinești during August had been challenging, with most places already booked. They eventually secured a room through Booking.com for an initial price of 1,200 lei. However, this room lacked a private bathroom and a balcony. An additional payment of 300 lei was required to include these facilities, bringing the total cost for the four-night stay to 1,500 lei.

Images of the room, which featured a double bed, wardrobe, and refrigerator, were shared, showcasing the private bathroom and balcony that were added for the extra cost. The price point drew mixed reactions from internet users. Some commenters felt the amount was excessive given the room's apparent conditions, with one user comparing it unfavorably to a 100 euro per night hotel room with a private pool they had experienced in Tenerife.
