Traffic restrictions in central Bucharest after road collapse

Traffic in central Bucharest faces disruptions following a road collapse at the intersection of Mihail Kogălniceanu Boulevard and Vasile Pârvan Street. The incident, which occurred around 2:00 PM on Monday, July 6, prompted an immediate response from the Road Brigade.

APA NOVA, the water and sewage utility company, was summoned to the scene to address the damage. Currently, traffic on Mihail Kogălniceanu Boulevard is restricted to one lane in each direction. Similarly, Vasile Pârvan Street is experiencing traffic limitations between Calea Plevnei and Mihail Kogălniceanu Boulevard, specifically on the lane heading from Berzei Street.

The Road Brigade is urging drivers to proceed with caution, maintain adequate distance from vehicles ahead, and adhere to temporary traffic signals and instructions from police officers present in the area. Pedestrians are also advised to use designated crossing points and obey traffic lights, ensuring they are visible to drivers before crossing.
