Today, seeing you represent our country with such greatness, competing among the best in the world, we feel an emotion difficult to describe," Delgado remarked, underscoring the pride felt by the club.

In addition to club honors, Mayor Hugo Lezcano, by unanimous decision of the Municipal Board, bestowed upon Gill the prestigious title of "Hijo Dilecto de la ciudad de San Lorenzo." This recognition signifies the highest honor the city can grant to one of its citizens. Gill also received a commemorative plaque for his World Cup performance and club contributions, along with two special jerseys.

Following the tributes, Gill addressed the press, sharing details about his current vacation and future aspirations. "I am on vacation in the country now.
