Truck tears deep holes in highway after overturning, A62 closed

A section of the A62 highway in Germany was closed for an extended period after a truck carrying a 15-ton hydraulic machine overturned, tearing deep holes into the asphalt. The incident occurred near the Türkismühle exit in the Saarland region, causing significant disruption to traffic.

The accident happened when a container with the heavy machinery shifted on the truck's trailer as it merged onto the highway. This imbalance caused the driver to lose control, leading to the truck tipping over. Authorities reported that the 45-year-old driver was fortunate to escape with only minor injuries.
