Former US President Donald Trump announced that his "Board of Peace" has brokered a deal for the complete disarmament of Palestinian militant groups in Gaza. Trump posted on his social media platform, Truth Social, that the agreement represents a "major milestone" in his "Trump 20-Point Plan" aimed at ending the Gaza war.

The phased deal includes the withdrawal of Israeli forces as disarmament progresses. An International Stabilisation Force, working alongside a newly established Palestinian police force, will be responsible for securing the enclave. Trump expressed gratitude to mediators Egypt, Qatar, and Turkey for their role in facilitating the agreement.
