Trump says envoys taking plan to ‘end the war’ to Moscow, Kyiv

Donald Trump says he is sending Jared Kushner and Steve Witkoff to Moscow and Kyiv with a proposal to end the war in Ukraine.

“They’re bringing with them a proposal to end the war,” Trump told reporters. He said the two envoys, whom he called “two great negotiators,” would assess whether an agreement could be reached. It will be their first visit to Kyiv since Trump returned to office, while both have previously traveled to Moscow.
