"Trypta" Event to Debut in Asunción, Fusing Music and Visuals for Immersive Experience

Asunción is set to host the inaugural edition of "Trypta," an event designed to merge music and visual arts into a singular, immersive experience. Scheduled for June 11th, the event promises a night where sound and visuals intertwine, transforming the Checkpoint bar into a sensory environment where every detail contributes to a unified artistic vision.

The lineup for this first chapter of Trypta features three distinct Paraguayan bands: Nott Demian, Wasit, and Boys Stout. Providing the musical backdrop will be DJ Tutumix. The organizers state that these three projects, each with its unique identity, will engage within the Trypta universe, crafting a sonic journey that moves from intimate to expansive.

Nott Demian, an emerging musical project born during the pandemic, is characterized by an elegant, sober, and emotional aesthetic. Their sound is built upon dense synthesizers, pulsating basslines, and atmospheric guitars, complemented by intimate lyrics. Influenced by artists like Depeche Mode, The Cure, Men I Trust, and Parcels, their music blends danceable post-punk with dream pop.

Wasit, an indie rock band formed in Asunción in 2023, fuses pop, funk, and hip hop with orchestral elements and art pop. Their influences range from Gustavo Cerati and Black Midi to Gorillaz and Arctic Monkeys. After releasing their debut album "Claroscuro" in 2025, they recently launched their second album, "Doblevisión," which features a more raw and guitar-centric rock sound. Boys Stout is also set to perform, contributing to the diverse musical offerings of the event.
