Tubuna impressed with tough competition

Following four rounds of the Fiji National Rugby League Vodafone Cup competition, development officer Sale Tubuna expressed his satisfaction with the overall improvement shown by participating teams. Tubuna noted a marked increase in preparation levels and a deeper comprehension of the game's intricacies and rules among the players this season.

"We have had a few new teams joining this year, lifting the intensity of the competition," Tubuna stated. He highlighted that the influx of new teams has elevated the competitive spirit, making the matches more engaging. Tubuna is eager to observe how the competition unfolds in the upcoming rounds, anticipating even greater excitement.

Furthermore, Tubuna pointed out the encouraging growth within the women's division of the league. "We have also seen a lot of growth in the women’s divison and that is a good sign for the sport," he added, indicating a positive trend in female participation and performance.
