Turkey to Hold MEB-AGS and ÖABT Exams on July 26

Turkey is set to conduct crucial entrance exams for aspiring educators and academics on Sunday, July 26, 2026. The Ministry of National Education Academy Entrance Exam (MEB-AGS) and the Teacher Field Knowledge Test (ÖABT) will be administered by the Measuring, Selection and Placement Center (ÖSYM) in two distinct sessions.

The MEB-AGS exam is scheduled to commence at 10:15 AM. Candidates will face 80 multiple-choice questions, and they will have a total of 110 minutes to complete the test. This first session will conclude precisely at 12:05 PM, with no provision for extra time.

Following the MEB-AGS, the ÖABT will begin in the afternoon at 2:45 PM. This exam focuses on specialized knowledge within different teaching fields, presenting candidates with 50 questions. The duration for the ÖABT will vary, ranging from 70 to 90 minutes, depending on the specific field of the applicant.
