Turkish Cup First Round Draw Date Announced

The draw for the first round of the Ziraat Turkish Cup is set for Thursday, August 27. The event will be held at the TFF Riva Hasan Doğan National Teams Camp and Training Facilities at 2:00 PM.

In the initial stage, 20 teams from the Nesine 3rd League will face off against 20 amateur teams. The 20 victorious teams will advance to the second round, scheduled for September 15-17.

The competition expands in the second round with the addition of 33 teams from the Nesine 3rd League and 9 teams from the Nesine 2nd League. Matches on October 6-8 will determine the 31 teams progressing to the third round.

Top-tier clubs from the Trendyol Super League and Trendyol 1st League enter the fray in the third round. Teams like Corendon Alanyaspor, Eyüpspor, Gaziantep FK, Gençlerbirliği, Kasımpaşa, and Kocaelispor will begin their cup campaigns. The third round matches are slated for October 27-29.

Further strengthening the competition, clubs such as Amed Sportif Faaliyetler, Arca Çorum FK, Çaykur Rizespor, Erzurumspor FK, Göztepe, Samsunspor, and TÜMOSAN Konyaspor will join in the fourth round. This round will also feature 11 teams from the Trendyol 1st League and 36 teams that advanced from the third round. Games are scheduled for December 1-3.

The most prominent clubs, including Beşiktaş, Fenerbahçe, Galatasaray, İstanbul Başakşehir FK, and Trabzonspor, will enter the tournament in the fifth round. They will be joined by the 27 teams that successfully navigated the fourth round. The first legs of these matches will be played on December 15-17, with the return fixtures on December 22-24.
