Turkish OSINT group claims to have mapped Greek ammunition depots

A Turkish internet user group, identifying itself as OSINT Task Force Greece, has announced it has mapped numerous ammunition depots throughout Greece. The group claims to have utilized exclusively open-source intelligence (OSINT) to compile this data, which they are preparing to present on an interactive map.

In a post on X, formerly Twitter, the group stated that it began its work on Greece in May. They assert that through systematic data collection and cross-referencing publicly available information, they have created a comprehensive dataset of military installations. The group indicated that parts of their findings will be shared periodically before the interactive map becomes accessible.

The OSINT Task Force Greece also revealed its future intentions, suggesting that radar systems might be the next target for their mapping efforts. The group thanked all contributors who participated in this work, emphasizing the collaborative nature of their project.

This claim by the Turkish group raises questions about the security of sensitive military information, even when gathered through publicly accessible sources. The development highlights the growing capabilities of OSINT groups in documenting and potentially revealing details about military infrastructure.
