Turkish U17s beat Puerto Rico to go 3-0 in World Cup

The Turkish U17 national basketball team achieved a decisive victory over Puerto Rico, winning 98-77 in their final group stage game of the FIBA U17 World Cup. This win marks their third consecutive victory in Group C.

The Turkish team dominated the match from the start, leading 29-23 after the first quarter and extending their advantage to 57-35 by halftime. They continued their strong performance in the second half, entering the final quarter with a commanding 77-54 lead before ultimately securing the 98-77 win.

With this victory, the "Ay-yıldızlı" (Crescent-Star) team concluded the group stage undefeated, topping Group C with a perfect 3-0 record. Their impressive performance has secured them a spot in the Round of 16.

Turkey is set to play against Venezuela, the last-place finisher in Group D, on Wednesday. The crucial Round of 16 match is scheduled to tip off at 20:15.
