Navigating intersections with "broken priority" rules presents a common challenge for Polish drivers, particularly concerning the correct use of turn signals. A frequent error involves drivers believing they do not need to signal when continuing on the main, priority road that curves. However, Polish traffic regulations stipulate that if the priority road turns, continuing on it constitutes a change in direction, thus requiring the use of the appropriate turn signal. Incorrectly omitting this signal can create hazardous conditions.

Another common mistake is activating a turn signal when proceeding straight through such an intersection, effectively leaving the main priority road for a subordinate one.
