TV Personality Park Na-rae's Ex-Manager Arrested for Extortion Attempt

A former manager of South Korean television personality Park Na-rae has been arrested and handed over to prosecutors on charges of extortion and attempted fraud. The individual allegedly threatened Park, demanding a substantial sum of money by threatening to reveal sensitive information.

According to reports, the ex-manager accused Park of misusing company funds for personal matters, including giving money to a former boyfriend. The demand was for 10% of the company's total revenue. In addition to the extortion attempt, the suspect is also accused of embezzling approximately 30 million won from the company's accounts.

Authorities have confirmed that the suspect was transferred to prosecutors on Thursday morning. The investigation is ongoing, with police also sending another former manager involved in the case to prosecutors, though this individual was not taken into custody.
