Two Dead, Two Injured in Serious Traffic Accident in Can Tho, Vietnam

A severe traffic accident on May 30 in Can Tho city, Vietnam, claimed two lives and left two others seriously injured. The collision occurred around 7 a.m. on a bypass road in My Xuyen ward, involving a passenger bus and three motorbikes traveling in the same direction.

The bus, registered in Bac Lieu province, was traveling from Ca Mau towards Can Tho when it collided forcefully with the motorbikes. The impact was significant, causing the immediate death of two motorcyclists. The victims were identified as 39-year-old S.T.H.N. from Can Tho city and an unidentified man around 40 years old, originally from Phu Loc commune in Can Tho.

Two other individuals sustained serious injuries and were rushed to Soc Trang General Hospital by locals. The accident also caused substantial damage to the motorbikes, with one completely destroyed and another found about 20 meters from the crash site. Heavy rainfall was reported at the time of the incident.

Local police from My Xuyen ward responded promptly, securing the scene and managing traffic. They are collaborating with relevant authorities to investigate the exact cause of this serious accident.
