Two Elderly Women Killed by Whoosh Feeder Train in Cimahi

Two elderly women tragically lost their lives after being struck by a KA Feeder 625 train in Cimahi, West Java. The victims, identified as Kusriyani, 58, and Primaeti Wastuti, 56, were residents of the Baros and Karangmekar neighborhoods in Cimahi Tengah district, respectively.

The incident occurred around 11:24 AM on Monday, May 25, 2026, on a railway track at KM 147+2 in the RT 03/04 area of Baros village. The KA Feeder 625 is a special train designated for transporting passengers of the Whoosh High-Speed Train.

According to the Head of Public Relations for the Cimahi Police, Iptu Gofur Supangkat, police received a report of the accident and found the two women deceased, lying on the railway tracks. The train's engineer reported the collision to the Cimahi Station Train Controller (PPKA) after the train struck the individuals.

An initial external examination by the Inafis Team of the Cimahi Polres revealed injuries consistent with being hit by a train on the victims' bodies. Both deceased have been evacuated and taken to the morgue at Cibabat Hospital in Cimahi for further procedures.
