Two foreign nationals arrested for drone flight over Norwegian military camp

Police arrested two foreign nationals after the Norwegian Armed Forces reported drone activity over Kolsås camp in Bærum. The incident led to the confiscation of the drone equipment and the filing of charges against the individuals involved.

The area directly above Kolsås camp is designated as a restricted zone. Regulations strictly prohibit all sensor activity within this airspace, making the drone flight a clear violation. The police emphasized that drone pilots bear an independent responsibility to familiarize themselves with the rules and restrictions governing the airspace they intend to operate in.
