Two injured in separate motorcycle and moped accidents in Vilnius

Two individuals sustained injuries in separate traffic accidents in Vilnius on Thursday, involving a motorcycle and a moped. Both drivers were taken to the hospital following the collisions.

The first incident occurred around 11:30 a.m. on Žemaja Street, where a motorcycle, ridden by a man born in 1992, collided with a Tesla car driven by a man born in 1982. The motorcyclist was injured and subsequently hospitalized. Police have initiated preliminary investigations into potential violations of road traffic safety or vehicle operation rules.

The second accident took place later in the afternoon, around 4:20 p.m., on Švitrigailos Street. A moped, operated by a man born in 1987, collided with a Toyota car driven by a man born in 2004. The moped driver was injured and transported to the hospital. Authorities have also launched a preliminary investigation into this incident, focusing on potential traffic safety violations.
