Two killed in Kyiv attacks; large fire in Sweden; Stockholm murder probe

At least two people died in Russian attacks on Kyiv overnight, according to TT. Ukraine's air force had warned of Russian ballistic missile threats late Tuesday and into the night. One woman was killed in the capital's central districts, and another person died in Bucha, a town just outside the city.

Separately, a large fire erupted in Laholm, Sweden, engulfing an apartment building in the town center. One person has been arrested on suspicion of aggravated arson. Police are investigating whether anyone remains inside the burning residences, as the fire has spread to multiple apartments. The alarm was raised shortly after midnight on Wednesday.

In Stockholm, police have launched a murder investigation after a woman in her 50s was found deceased in the city's archipelago. A police operation involving boats and helicopters was underway in Värmdö municipality since Tuesday afternoon. The crime scene has been cordoned off for a technical investigation.
