Two Malaysian entrepreneurs honored, aim for Fortune 500 listing

Datuk Seri Mossco Woo Chin Teck and Subha Sathiamoorthy Maraiah, two entrepreneurs from Perak, have achieved national recognition for their success in the corporate world, receiving prestigious awards at the Golden Bull Awards 2023.

Woo Chin received the Super Golden Bull Award, while Subha was honored with the Golden Bull Inspirational Entrepreneur Award. Both individuals lead a local international company with diverse operations spanning construction, energy, oil and gas, renewable energy, telecommunications, infrastructure, and mining across Kelantan and Sabah.

Woo Chin attributed his success to unwavering trust in his business partners, high commitment, and dedication. His ambition is to see their company join the ranks of the World Fortune 500 companies. Subha highlighted the company's success as being driven by a strategic planning culture, a constant pursuit of innovation, and the adoption of new technologies, adhering to the principle of "plan your work and work your plan."

The company's future plans include spearheading telecommunications and infrastructure development in Sabah, alongside expanding green energy projects and fiber optic networks through collaboration with the Sabah State Government. They are also partnering with the Kelantan State Government to develop a specialized testing laboratory for rare earth elements (REE) and gold, which is expected to be the first in Malaysia and Southeast Asia with specific Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for REE testing.

Their achievements serve as an inspiration, demonstrating that background is not a determinant of future success. Their hard work, visionary leadership, and teamwork have paved the way for their accomplishments, encouraging young people to venture into entrepreneurship and the corporate sector, thereby creating jobs, stimulating economic growth, and contributing to the nation's development.
