Two resorts inducted into FETA Hall of Fame

Two Fijian resorts, Likuri Island Resort and Malolo Island Resort, have achieved a significant milestone by being inducted into the Fiji Development Bank Fiji Excellence in Tourism Awards Hall of Fame. This prestigious recognition celebrates their consistent delivery of high standards in Fiji's vital tourism sector.

Likuri Island Resort earned its place in the Hall of Fame by winning the Budget Hostel Accommodation category for three consecutive years. Malolo Island Resort secured its spot after claiming the Deluxe Accommodation category for properties with fewer than 50 rooms over the same period. This triple consecutive win demonstrates sustained excellence and a commitment to superior guest experiences.

Navinesh Singh, General Manager of Likuri Group, attributed the success to strong leadership, clear performance targets, and the dedication of both past and present staff. He highlighted the implementation of processes within Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) as crucial to achieving repeat wins and ultimately, Hall of Fame induction. "The credit also goes to the hardworking team, past and present, who have all been part of the business and ensuring we get to where we are today," Singh stated.

Malolo Island Resort Manager Zack Vonotabua also acknowledged the collective effort and support contributing to the resort's ongoing success. The induction is also a notable achievement for the wider Rosie Travel Group, with Managing Director Tony Whitton recognizing the workforce's efforts and the resort's long-standing commitment to hospitality excellence. Registrations for the next awards season are set to open on July 27.
