Two Unidentified Male Bodies Found in Public Spaces in Lithuania; Investigations Underway

Lithuanian police are investigating the circumstances surrounding the discovery of two deceased men in separate public locations on June 29. The incidents have prompted preliminary investigations into the causes of death.

In Vilnius, the body of an unidentified man, estimated to be around 40 years old, was found near a building on Tyzenhauzų Street. The discovery was made around 1:18 PM. Authorities reported that the man showed no visible signs of external trauma.

Later the same day, around 8:56 PM, another unidentified man's body was discovered in a public area on Semeliškių Street in Vievis, Elektrėnai municipality. This body was found in a state of decomposition, also without any apparent external signs of violence.

Ikiteisminiai tyrimai, or preliminary investigations, have been initiated for both cases to determine the exact causes of death. Further details are expected as the investigations proceed.
