UAE extradites wanted Irish crime gang boss Daniel Kinahan to Ireland

Daniel Kinahan, an Irish national considered one of the most wanted individuals in transnational organized crime, has been extradited from the United Arab Emirates to Ireland. The extradition was confirmed following a phone call between Abdullah Bin Sultan Bin Awad Al Nuaimi, the UAE's Minister of Justice, and Ireland's Minister for Justice, Home Affairs and Migration, Jim O’Callaghan.

Kinahan is accused of leading an organized criminal group, murder, and illicit drug trafficking. The decision to extradite him was based on an official request from Irish authorities and a ruling by the Dubai Court of Cassation, adhering to the extradition agreement between the UAE and the Republic of Ireland.
