UAE leaders hail Emirati women as vital to national progress

The United Arab Emirates marked Emirati Women's Day with high-level praise from its top leaders, emphasizing the indispensable role women play in the nation's development and future.

President His Highness Sheikh Mohamed Bin Zayed Al Nahyan, along with His Highness Sheikh Mohammed Bin Rashid Al Maktoum and His Highness Sheikh Mansour Bin Zayed Al Nahyan, acknowledged the achievements of Emirati women. They highlighted their contributions to building the nation, shaping its future, and embodying values such as leadership and excellence.

This year's Emirati Women's Day is celebrated under the theme 'We Emerge Stronger and Better.' This theme reflects the ongoing journey of women's empowerment in the UAE and their increasing influence across various sectors.

In a notable expansion of the observance, the celebrations will extend beyond a single day to encompass a full month. From August 28 to September 28, nationwide events and activities will take place, underscoring the UAE's commitment to recognizing and celebrating Emirati women's accomplishments and their integral position in society.
