UBSI Graduate Drefiz Okrizhanaldi Becomes Civil Servant, Demonstrating Graduate Readiness

Drefiz Okrizhanaldi, a graduate of Universitas Bina Sarana Informatika (UBSI) Kampus Pontianak, has officially been appointed as a Civil Servant (ASN) at the Ngabang District Office, marking a significant achievement for the university's alumni.

Okrizhanaldi, who completed the D-III Information Systems program in 2020, now holds a position within the Sub-Division of General Affairs, Personnel, and Assets. In his role, he is responsible for supporting the district's various operational activities. His duties include assisting in the preparation of work programs, managing administrative and financial affairs, handling personnel matters, overseeing asset management, and maintaining archival systems. He also plays a part in ensuring effective coordination among organizational units to optimize public services.

Reflecting on his new role, Okrizhanaldi emphasized the valuable preparation he received during his studies at UBSI. He found the learning environment comfortable and the support from his lecturers instrumental in building his confidence for the professional world. "The learning was enjoyable and engaging, and the lecturers were very supportive of their students. That became a very helpful asset when I entered the working world," he stated.

He further noted that the conducive academic atmosphere and communicative lecturers at UBSI helped him develop systematic thinking, discipline, and adaptability, qualities essential for a government position requiring high levels of accuracy and responsibility. Okrizhanaldi encouraged current UBSI students to continue developing their skills and make the most of their educational opportunities, stating, "Keep up the spirit of learning and continue to improve your abilities.
