Allan Nascimento, a Brazilian mixed martial arts (MMA) fighter who joined the Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) in 2021, has died at the age of 34. The UFC confirmed the fighter's passing on Tuesday, stating he was found unconscious after an apparent cardiac arrest during his sleep.

The organization reported that medical teams were dispatched to the scene, but Nascimento's death was confirmed. His last fight was on June 20 in Las Vegas, where he lost to American fighter Mitch Raposo. Throughout his career, Nascimento accumulated 22 victories, with 16 by submission, and suffered seven defeats.
