Ukraine attacks Russian logistics warehouses in four regions simultaneously

Ukrainian drones struck Russian logistics warehouses early Thursday, hitting facilities operated by the popular e-commerce company Wildberries in multiple regions. The attacks targeted locations in the Leningrad region, the federal city of St. Petersburg, Simferopol, and Tver.

In St. Petersburg, Governor Alexandr Beglov reported that air defense systems were active and that the attack targeted civilian infrastructure on the Moskovskoye Highway, where a major Wildberries warehouse is located in the village of Shushari. The company itself confirmed the closure of its logistics centers in Shushari and Novosaratovka, in the Leningrad region.

In Novosaratovka, a drone attack sparked a fire at a Wildberries warehouse, resulting in three people sustaining moderate to severe injuries. They are receiving medical attention. Governor Alexander Drozdenko of the Leningrad region confirmed the incident. Reports indicate that another building in the industrial complex, owned by construction materials company Petróvich, was also engulfed in flames.

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy acknowledged the attacks, describing them as part of an ongoing "operation against Russian logistics." He stated that these operations target centers supplying the occupying army with drone components, navigation equipment, and military supplies. Wildberries warehouses in Simferopol, Crimea, and Tver were also reportedly hit.

According to the governor of the Tver region, Vitali Koroliov, a logistics center caught fire following a drone attack, though the blaze was extinguished. No casualties were reported among residents or employees. The Kommersant newspaper estimated that Wildberries had lost 8% of its logistics capacity following previous attacks on warehouses in other regions.
